This article reminded me of what happens when every superhero fan first starts liking indie comics. They go batshit insane touting the superiority of those one or two indie comics they'd "discovered." Except this guy wasn't a superhero fan, he was a nothing fan.
Jimmy Corrigan is fucking brilliant, no doubt. But it's possible to be better. It's happened already.
And the whole "no serious work" thing . . .what is he, retarded? The answer is yes, he is retarded.
