Post Paternal Day
Good morning and welcome, all. Just a few notes before I set off for my last full week of school this year (can't wait can't wait can't wait).
My new column is up at the New Comic Book Galaxy. From now on it will be up every other Monday without fail. If you like reading here, read there, too.
Ice Haven is still an amazing, amazing comic book. Dan Clowes is one of the handful of comics folk that can actually be considered a genius, I think. If you don't like Ice Haven, you don't like comics, period.
Finally got to see what the big deal was about Scott Pilgrim. That was fun.
I NEED MY OATMEAL NOW.

Ice Haven looks awesome, but why is it 25 bucks? :-(
Is a softcover ever going to be released? Not sure how you'd know, but it's just a general statement that i'm sick of expensive hardcovers.
(and, yeah, all the buzz about Scott Pilgrim is 100% justified)

There wasn't much new in Ice Haven that wasn't in the original issue. I counted four new pages, none of 'em were that essential.
So you can probably pick up Eightball 21 for seven? Eight? bucks and not miss much.
(Still, amazingly good freakin' comic.)
